Mountain Projects Head Start/Early Head Start in Jackson County is seeking a Family Service Worker to work comprehensively in recruiting and enrolling children in the Head Start program. The family service worker will ensure the Head Start program services and community resources are available to enrolled children and their families. The position identifies and assists families in promoting family wellness and encouraging parent engagement within the program.

Qualifications Include:
Family Development Credential or Associate Degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field.

Skills Needed:

Ability to work effectively with co-workers, parents, and children; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; uses good judgement in making decisions; computer skills; able to multitask and problem solve.
