Resale Stores: Shop & Donate in Haywood & Jackson County

Mountain Projects Resale in Waynesville and Sylva Linings in Sylva are two of the best-kept secrets in WNC thrifting — quality secondhand clothing, furniture, and housewares at prices that make sense, with every dollar going straight back into programs that help your neighbors. Housing assistance, senior services, early childhood education, weatherization — it’s all funded, in part, by what gets sold on these shelves.

Whether you’re furnishing a first apartment, hunting for a one-of-a-kind piece, or just love a good thrift find, shopping here means your money stays local and does double duty.

Both stores carry a wide variety of designer clothing, housewares, furniture, and home décor. Donations from the community keep the shelves stocked and the mission moving forward.

What You'll Find

Both stores are stocked entirely by community donations, so inventory changes constantly — but you can typically count on:

  • Designer and everyday clothing for the whole family
  • Furniture, from accent pieces to full living room sets
  • Housewares, kitchen items, and glassware
  • Home décor and artwork
  • Linens, shoes, toys, and jewelry

Stop in often — the good stuff moves fast, and there’s always something new on the floor.
