Resale Stores: Shop & Donate in Haywood & Jackson County

This store is so clean and well organized. I was pleasantly surprised by how orderly it was. This made looking around to shop a much better and easier experience. The ladies who work there are so nice, and the organizing team should be patted ion the back for their A- plus efforts.

This is absolutely completely and definitely hands down the best shop in Haywood county! I love the reason they do it for! Highly recommend

Great prices and friendly staff

This use to be one of my favorite places to shop but the prices have gone through the roof. Sign on the door states not taking donations at this time due to lack of room. One would think that dropping the prices would allow the store to keep inventory from becoming stale and allowing them to not turn down donations as well. Instead, I am seeing the same stuff for months sitting on the shelf because it’s not selling due to wanting to get that top dollar. I’m all for supporting local, but with the prices of their items it makes it hard to support this business. Huge turnoff for me when a store receives all their items free and prices these items as if they are a big box chain retail store. Not only do I not want to purchase, it makes me not want to donate even if they are taking donations.

This is one of the best resale stores in town! Just opened 2023. New, $1 clearance clothing rack every day. Sales on different types of clothing regularly. Very decorative, clean and organized inside! Lots of housewear, nice quality antiques, decor. $0.25- $1.00 Books, DVD's Dont know why they only have a 3.7 rating?! Men's clothing room, women's clothing room, local made earrings, and more. Everything they make goes right back into the community agency it is for- Mtn Projects Non-Profit, that provides much help for many community members. Building handycap ramps, etc. This is the new sister store to Silva Lining's thrift store in Sylva. Worth checking on a regular!

Honestly, shame on you guys. $40 for USED shoes that were given to you for FREE?! Cmon now. Used breast pumps should really be given away or tossed as that is a health hazard. I just can’t quite grasp how these thrift stores stand on the premise of helping those less fortunate when your target consumer is shopping at a thrift store…Make it make sense. PS- you’re not going to make money sitting on items that are priced so high, that people are passing on them for months and months. You are literally paying to keep the lights on…Genius.

Getting a 1 star because the staff are very polite. I loved coming here up until around August of 2024 and noticed significant hike in price so I stopped for a couple months and now it's hiked even more. You still have items in there from the last time I was there! I do not nor will I ever understand a thrift store that's out to give the community good prices can even have the nerve to stop accepting donations because you are full. I've never not one time heard of that in a thrift store. So basically turning away money. Stop looking at your phones for prices and just price like the normal days and move the product. I can't even find me a pair of men's shoes that's under 10 dollars unless the sole is literally falling off. You will make more money pushing items out the door at a little lower prices and you will be able to accept the free items people bring to you. You are not ebay but your prices are very close. I have a ebay account I can shop from home. So please stop looking up every item for prices so your store can actually get back to normal prices that thrifters looking for deals can actually find some. Until prices change I would not recommend shopping here. Your company does wonderful things for the community but really hurting your look and business by pricing everything at insane prices. More of a thrift store with boutique consignment prices. Not worth it at this time

Every time I go to Mountain Projects Resale store I always find something I need to have! They have a great selection and their pricing is reasonable. Their staff is the best part though!! Very friendly and helpful, always!
