Our Mission

Mountain Projects’ 145 employees serve more than 15,000 people each year across Haywood and Jackson Counties, with some programs that span all seven far Western North Carolina counties.

We work to address systemic causes of poverty by providing tools and specialized programs to help individuals and families move toward self-sufficiency.

Our programs and dozens of partnerships help provide assistance with health and wellness, housing, education, transportation and much more. You’ll find us supporting our community all across Haywood and Jackson Counties.
