The Health Insurance Navigator provides free, unbiased, impartial assistance with Marketplace plan eligibility, enrollment, and post-enrollment assistance. They are responsible for assisting consumers with Marketplace applications for individual health plans or Medicaid Expansion, including calculating household income to obtain accurate advanced premium tax credits or Medicaid, assisting consumers with finding in-network providers, safety net providers, medication coverage, and financial assistance. This position will also be responsible for outreach and education events in the county they serve and may assist staff in other counties.
