2025 in Review
The Food Services program provides to Head Start students, Congregate Nutrition Center, for Seniors at Haywood Senior Center, and for others in serious need. After floods hit the region, the team also prepared ready-to-eat meals for emergency workers and home home-bound seniors and individuals with disabilities, demonstrating flexibility and commitment under pressure. Despite challenges from rising food costs and the closure of a large daycare program, the program maintained 100% on-time deliveries and zero foodborne illnesses.
