Administrative Units

The Food Service program was started in the 1970’s in order to prepare nutritious meals and control costs at a centralized kitchen in Sylva, North Carolina. During the 1990’s we expanded the program to supply low cost meals to day care centers in our area. We currently have a staff of five employees and operate five delivery vehicles. We produce 1,000 meals each day that are delivered to 51 sites located in Haywood, Jackson, Swain, Clay, and Cherokee Counties.
