Deputy Director
Deputy Director – Job Description
Mountain Projects, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Director to assist the Executive Director in the management and overseeing of the organization and programs including various levels of compliance. The position requires a positive and encouraging personality to support the amazing staff of the organization.
Minimum qualifications: BS in related field, 3 years supervisory experience, strong communication and people skills, compassion for helping meet needs in our community. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant non-profit experience.
A pre-employment drug test, driving record and background check are required.

Assistant Teacher – Job Description
Assist teacher in implementing all educational and developmental aspects of the Head Start Program in the classroom. Ability to work effectively with coworkers, parents, and children; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; uses good judgment in making decisions; computer skills; able to multi-task and problem solve.
Floater (Haywood)
Assist teaching staff with all educational and developmental aspects of the Head Start Program in the classroom. Rotates throughout the program to assist classroom staff as needed. Ability to work effectively with coworkers, parents, and children; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; uses good judgment in making decisions; computer skills; able to multi-task and problem solve. Must have an adequate vehicle, valid driver license and insurance; local travel sometimes required, must occasionally go into homes of Head Start children for home visits.

Resale Associate – Job Description
Accepting Applications for a part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Duties include Cashier, open and close store, price items and restock them on the floor, assisting with sorting donations and helping to maintain a clean and orderly store. This position has long periods of standing. The ability to lift 35 pounds is required. Up to 25 hours a week, schedule will vary, and will include some Saturday’s.

HOP Delivery Driver – Job Description
Under the supervision of the HOP Coordinator, this position works one-on-one with families in the HOP program to ensure that food services are delivered in a timely manner. They will be responsible for packing the food boxes and delivering to the homes of the clients we serve. This is a part-time position and hours will vary based on the needs of our clients.
